Thank You's

This page is dedicated to all of those who have helped out with the library over the last few years. The financial and volunteer support have been essential to the library. The head librarian and I decided that we would create this page to help us thank everyone. For all the volunteers who have given their time to aid in sales, draws, clubs and construction and maintenance, we would like to extend our gratitude.
Thank You.

Red Scarves

Scarf on Main Street North Bay

This past year the North Bay Regional Health Centre's Protective Services department, in collaboration with the Knitting Ladies of the Magnetawan Public Library, put forth an outstanding
red scarves for the Red Scarf Project. These many hand made scarves would not be possible without the volunteers who took the time to help their neighbours stay warm this winter season. A big Thank You to former Head Librarian Bonnie Davidson for helping to coordinate with the members in North Bay and make these scarves possible for those who need them in the months to come.

Town of Magnetawan and Surrounding Area

We have reached our renovation fundraising objective The Magnetawan Library Board, Librarian and staff, wish to thank you for your generous donations of time, effort and funds to be applied to the expansion of the library. Our fundraising has been successful and we are extremely pleased to bring you many improvements. You contributed towards creating a brighter and larger library with new floor coverings, fresh paint and better lighting. The new children’s area provides much needed space and child sized furniture. The Province provided grant money that would be spent on very specific items. This money allowed us to upgrade to better computers and software. As well we purchased exciting technology for people, of all ages with visual, auditory and dexterity challenges. Watch for more information in the near future. This will be a stimulating year at the Magnetawan Library. We hope the new library will delight our current members and encourage non-members to drop in and investigate. Again, thank you so much for your support. Truly, The Magnetawan Library Board, Librarian and staff.
